If you’re wondering what a Payson elopement can look like, Tien and Thomas’ wedding weekend is the perfect inspiration.
The couple chose to celebrate their fall elopement surrounded by Arizona’s towering ponderosa pines, making the Mogollon Rim the perfect backdrop for an intimate weekend with their closest family. Rather than planning a traditional one-day wedding, they turned their celebration into a relaxing getaway by renting The Polish Place on Pine Ridge in Payson.
The stunning 5,461-square-foot mountain home comfortably hosted both of their families with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, a private cinema room, poker room, spacious loft with a pool table, and a large balcony overlooking breathtaking mountain views. It became more than just a place to stay, it was where everyone gathered for meals, shared stories, and celebrated together throughout the weekend.
Before meeting their guests, Tien and Thomas shared a quiet first look at one of the Mogollon Rim overlooks. With nothing but the forest around them and panoramic views stretching for miles, they exchanged private vows in a moment that felt completely their own. It was one of the most emotional parts of the day and gave them time to truly soak in the significance of the moment before the celebration began.

The patio transformed into a cozy reception space with twinkling string lights overhead, where guests enjoyed an intimate dinner, heartfelt toasts, and dancing under the stars. The relaxed atmosphere perfectly reflected what they had envisioned. A wedding weekend focused on connection, adventure, and celebrating with the people who matter most.
