Tanner + Maria’s wedding day was perfect, down to the last detail. Church has been an important part of their lives, so they naturally wanted to incorporate that into their wedding day. They chose to have their ceremony at the Saint Juan Diego Catholic Church in Chandler, Arizona, just south of Mesa. Their November wedding was full of love, family, fresh florals and tons of partying with their closest friends.
The Details
The day began as bride and groom got ready at The bridesmaids and family members surrounded Maria with love and support as she got ready. Everyone held back tears as they saw how all of the hard work tied together to create a simply gorgeous wedding day look. Maria wore a ??? dress. Tanner was also surrounded by loving family as he got ready for the big day and saw his bride for the first time. As they said “I do” in a space so special to them both, their faces beamed with joy.
The Reception
The party then moved to a family friend’s home for the wedding reception. The family photos and bridal party photos took place in the lovely gardens on the property. The fall weather was perfect for an Arizona wedding. The outdoor reception space was meticulously decorated with simple, natural tones, candles, and greenery. One of my favorite parts was the table prepared for the new couple, complete with an intricate floral arrangement, a sign that said “The Picos,” and a vintage-style loveseat. The dessert table was decked out with plenty of sweets to go around and clever sayings. As the sun set, the couple danced their first dance and emotional toasts were made. The evening ended with plenty of food, a mariachi band, drinks, dancing, and laughter.
