Desert Wedding at The Paseo | Arizona Wedding Photographer
There is nothing more breathtaking than a desert wedding at The Paseo. The Paseo is breathtaking and a venue that couples come from all over the world to have their wedding day at. The large windows reflecting the superstitions, jaw dropping view of the Arizona desert and whimsical reception place is a show stopper for all guests. For Alana and Jimmy, being able to enjoy the outdoors and nature with their friends and family was a huge must for their wedding day – they chose a late winter wedding at The Paseo and it was the most incredible day surrounded by so much love.
If you want to see the most dreamy desert wedding at the Paseo venue in Arizona, here it is! Jimmy and Alana’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. The wedding was at the Paseo which is a beautiful venue in the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Alana and Jimmy rented airbnb’s near the Paseo to get ready at with friends and family the morning of, I highly recommend doing this if you have large groups staying with you or getting ready with you! These airbnb’s were next door to eachother making it the perfect space for both sides to get ready before heading to the venue.
Alana wore the most gorgeous all lace dress with a stunning long veil and Jimmy had a classic black and white suit with their bridal party in shades of red to compliment the desert background, it was absolutely perfect! I loved that they decided to do a first look and private vows before the ceremony together, it allows couples to soak it all in and not feel the pressure to react a certain way or even hide those feelings if they have a million eyes on them during the ceremony. For desert weddings at the paseo I love utilizing the big doors in the ceremony space for photos, it is one of my favorite areas in the whole venue!
After the ceremony finished we got to go out to the desert for sunset photos among the saguaros and cholla with the Superstition Mountains as the backdrop to capture the new couple! Being able to sneak away from cocktail hour and enjoy the quiet and sunset together is such a magical experience for couples. The Paseo really does an incredible job of creating such an intimate and beautiful atmosphere for the couples getting married there, I can not recommend them enough!

Being able to photograph a wedding at The Paseo is always a magical experience for us, Shaice and Seth’s modern wedding at The Paseo was no exception! The venue itself is Arizona’s number one most sought after venue to get married at. We often have couples come from all over the world to get married at The Paseo because absolutely nothing compares! If you are looking for an incredible desert wedding experience then Shaice and Seth’s wedding will not disappoint!
The Paseo is an exclusive, unique and luxurious venue directly in front of the Superstition Mountains. Surrounded by Saguaros, Cholla and an expansive desert as the backdrop! This is the perfect location to hold any wedding celebration. As an elopement and wedding photographer in Arizona, we are always drawn to color palettes that enhance the natural beauty of the venues and locations we are working with during events. Shaice and Seth chose to go with a mix between modern and bohemian with their sleek all black bridal party outfits and the stunning dried florals decorated all throughout the venue.
Shaice and Seth are huge family people! When we met to discuss their vision for their modern wedding at The Paseo they emphasized how important capturing the moments between them and their families were. They are so close with their families they really wanted to capture that during their big day and we were so honored to be a part of such intimate and special moments between all of them! Seth and Shaice were long distance for many years while they both finished school and also had most of guests come from out of state to celebrate them so this day was a big one for everyone!
After Shaice and Seth exchanged their vows in front of the Superstition Mountains, they wandered through the desert to enjoy some desert views and get the majestic golden hour photos that everyone dreams about! As the sun began to set, guests were invited into The Paseo’s massive reception space. Tables decorated with dried florals, sleek black tablecloths and candles welcomed guests as they sat for dinner with the large barn doors open unveiling the Superstitions as the sun set. It was the perfect design for a modern wedding at The Paseo!
Shaice and Seth’s wedding at The Paseo was so fun! A few of our favorite touches that felt like they brought more personalization to the day was the classic car we used for an exit along with some epic bridal photos during reception, the super fun champagne tower and the glow sticks they brought to liven up the dance floor!
Spring Wedding at The Paseo | Arizona Wedding Photographer
There is nothing more breathtaking than a spring wedding at The Paseo. The Paseo is breathtaking and a venue that couples come from all over the world to have their wedding day at. The large windows reflecting the superstitions, jaw dropping view of the Arizona desert and whimsical reception place is a show stopper for all guests.
For Bree and Brandon, being able to enjoy the outdoors and nature with their friends and family was a huge must for their wedding day – they chose a late spring wedding at The Paseo and it was the most incredible day surrounded by so much love. It was an absolute party!
Bree and Brandon’s Spring Wedding at The Paseo
Bree got ready for her big day with no other than her beautiful mother. It is so important to us as photographers to give some space to mothers and daughters on the wedding day to help each other get ready and really soak the moments in leading up to walking down the aisle. A first look with her father and then Brandon’s tearful first look was next. Doing a first look at your wedding is always a yes from us! First looks not only give us extra time for photos prior to your ceremony but also give our couples that private quiet time to just enjoy each other before all of the wedding day chaos!
When it came to decorating for their Wedding at the Paseo, Bree and Brandon went all out. The decor was modern bohemian with lots of burnt orange, dried florals and pampas for days. The hanging florals in the reception space, head table with neon sign and lit candles and cactus napkin holders were the stars of the show for us though. It’s hard to compete with The Paseo’s natural beauty but the thoughtful touches of every detail that went into this incredible day only enhanced that beauty and created an absolutely breathtaking wedding space for their big day!
When it came to bridal party, Bree and Brandon said the bigger the better! They are truly such big party people they wanted their bridal parties to really be there to hype them up and celebrate all day long – and they did just that! The bridal parties personalities really brought so much fun to the wedding day, especially “the flower boys”. This was such a fun part of the ceremony and had guests in tears!
Bree and Brandon’s spring wedding at the Paseo was everything you could dream of. Something about saying “I do” in front of Arizona’s incredible Superstition Mountains just can’t be beat. If you are looking for a venue that can completely captivate guests while portraying Arizona’s beauty, The Paseo is the venue for you! One of our favorite things about being Arizona Wedding Photographers is the fact that we get to shoot at this dream venue so often it is nearly a second home to us after all these years!
Why Spring Is the Perfect Season for a Wedding at The Paseo
Spring is one of the most sought after seasons for weddings in Arizona, and after photographing weddings throughout the state, it’s easy to understand why.
Between March and early May, couples enjoy comfortable temperatures, beautiful desert blooms, and some of the most incredible golden hour light of the entire year. The surrounding Sonoran Desert feels especially vibrant, while the Superstition Mountains provide an unforgettable backdrop for both ceremonies and portraits.
One of my favorite things about spring weddings at The Paseo is how effortlessly the venue complements almost every wedding style. Whether you’re envisioning timeless elegance, romantic garden-inspired florals, modern minimalism, or a classic black-tie celebration, the natural beauty of the venue allows every design to shine.
Golden Hour Portraits with the Superstition Mountains
Golden hour at The Paseo is one of the biggest reasons couples fall in love with this venue.
As the sun begins to set behind the mountains, the desert is covered in a warm golden glow that creates incredibly romantic portraits. The soft evening light flatters every couple while highlighting the textures of the surrounding desert landscape.
We explored several of my favorite portrait locations around the venue, allowing the couple to enjoy a few quiet moments together while creating timeless images they’ll love for years to come.
If you’re planning your own wedding at The Paseo, I always recommend building enough time into your timeline for sunset portraits. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of the entire wedding day.
Planning a Spring Wedding at The Paseo
If you’re considering The Paseo for your own Arizona wedding, spring is one of the best times of year to celebrate.
A few planning tips I always share with my couples include:
Schedule 20–30 minutes during golden hour for portraits.
Plan your ceremony approximately two hours before sunset for the most flattering light.
Choose seasonal spring flowers that complement the desert landscape.
Encourage guests to bring sunglasses and light layers for changing evening temperatures.
Trust your vendor team to create a timeline that allows you to enjoy every part of the day without feeling rushed.
The Paseo offers an incredible balance of natural beauty and thoughtful design, making it one of my favorite Arizona wedding venues to photograph year after year.
